Energy Calc Co.'s mission is to provide great service. In order to better serve you, we are always looking for ways to speed up the process.
We accept emailed PDF building plans and if you call ahead we most often turn your job around within 24 hours of the day you have reserved on our schedule. It is important that you provide adequate information and make yourself available for questions and consulting. We do not expect you to submit projects that are in compliance.
The stimulating part of our job is seeking compliance solutions that "work" for our clients. After we arrive at a compliance scenario that you are happy with we provide hard copies, an electronic version or both at your request. At that point, you can pay your bill by check or credit card. Design changes sometimes affect compliance. If you have a simple design change call us and we will check it out for free. If you or the building department want additional documentation we can do that for an additional $75. Substantial design changes that require revised energy calcs will be billed at $100/hour. Of course, if we make an error we will correct it and redo the documentation for free.
