Installation Certificate (CF-6R)

We have had many inquiries about building departments asking for the CF-6R form. The CF-6R form a.k.a "Installation Certificate" is not part of the documentation we provide for your permit submittal. The applicable parts of this many part form are to be posted at the building site to assist inspection. The responsible party for each applicable section signs the form to acknowledge that their portion of the project has been built to meet or beat the T24 requirements. For example, an insulation contractor would sign off on part CF-6R-ENV-01 to take responsibility for the R-value and type of insulation installed on the project. For the latest code cycle the Kitchen Lighting Worksheet was changed from a submittal form to a part of the Installation Certificate (CF-6R-LTG-01). Go to our "Resources" tab to find the link to the Energy Commission website where you can download the applicable portions of the CF-6R for your use.
